Here is what Kayleigh's room looked when we bought the house a year and a half ago... (click on the pictures for bigger pics)
Kayleigh LOVES Rapunzel, and wanted a Rapunzel room! Her room got new carpet, new trim, new door and closet doors, new door hardware, new curtains and hardware, new ceiling fan, new outlets and covers (althought the house is ten years old, we HATED the dated almond outlets and covers) - now even the light switch sets the fan speed and dims the light - no cords to pull, an "art wall," hand-me-down-but-totally-chic furniture, a canopy over her bed, gold wall vinyls, artwork, a Rapunzel pendant, a "frying pan" (if you've seen the movie Tangled, you'd get it), a "Wanted: Flyn Rider poster," and a couple of other items will finish it out, but we're like 99% done. At least, for the next to years until she wants to change it...
